Thomas Bray, written 1834, proved 1844

I Thomas Bray of Ashwell in the County of Hertford do make this my last Will & Testament this twenty second day of November 1834. That is to say after all my just debts & funeral expenses are paid I give & bequeath unto my executor hereafter appointed the sum of twenty pounds in trust that he shall place the same in the Baldock Saving Bank & allow the interest to accumulate till Thomas the son of Abel Bray of Ashwell aforesaid shall attain the age of twenty one years & when the said Thomas Bray shall have attained the age of twenty one years then to pay the said twenty pounds with the accumulated interest thereon to him the said Thomas Bray for his whole & sole use I also give & bequeath to Thomas M... of Bassingbourne in the County of Cambridge the sum of ten pounds. also to Jos Cooper of Ashwell aforesaid the sum of five pounds. also to Jsabel the wife of Jos Jermyn of Ashwell aforesaid the sum of £5 over & above the share which I shall hereafter give her in the residue of my property I give & bequeath to be equally divided share & share alike to the following persons namely Elizabeth Craft [?] widow Jsabel the wife of Jos Jermyn Sybel the wife of Abraham Garrrett both of Ashwell Eliza the wife of Simon Scales of Biggleswade in the County of Bedford William Bray Lilly the wife John Stephens Mary the wife of John Gray all of Meppershall in the said County of Bedford I desire to be decently interred in the Church Yard of Ashwell & to have a stone placed over my grave I hereby nominate & appoint & request him to accept the Office Mr John Sale of Ashwell Farmer Executor to this my last Will & Testament As Witness my hand & seal this twenty second day of Novr 1834. Proved at London 7th December 1844 before the Judge by the oath of John Sale the sole Executor to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn by Comon duly to administer.
