John Pack, written 1792, proved 1806

In the name of God Amen. I John Pack of the Parish of Ashwell in the County of Hertford Blacksmith being weak in Boday, but of sounds and Perfect Mind & Memory, blessed be Almighty God for the same, Do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) First I Give and Bequeath unto my beloved wife Letitia All that my Freehold Messuage or Tenement, (now divided into two dwellings,) and in the Occupation of myself and John Whitehead, together with the Barns & Stables Blacksmith's Shop and all other my Freehold Estate whatsoever situate in Ashwell aforesaid or elsewhere To hold to her and her Heirs and Assigns for ever. And also I Give and Devise unto my Dear Wife Letitia All and every my Household Goods Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever that I may be possessed of at the Time of my Decease, She paying, or causing to be paid unto my son William, the sum of Twenty one shillings of lawful money of Great Britain within One Calendar Month next after my Decease. And I hereby appoint my said beloved Wife Letitia Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament. Hereby Revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Third day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and Ninety two.
