I Thomas Pack of Ashwell in the County of Hertford Blacksmith do make this my
last Will & Testament this Thirtieth Day of June 1819. That is to say I give
& bequeath to my dear wife Sarah Pack the use of my now freehold dwelling
House situated at Ashwell aforesaid for the term of her natural life or so long
as she shall continue my widow, but at the death of my said dear wife, or if she
should marry again, I give & bequeath my said freehold dwelling House to my
Son John Pack & his Heirs for ever. And I also give & bequeath to my
dear wife Sarah Pack all the Linen Household furniture & Goods which were my
said dear wife's before her marriage with me. Also I give & bequeath to my
dear Son John Pack my freehold Blacksmith's Shop situated in Ashwell aforesaid
& to his Heirs for ever. And I also leave the rest of my Property after my
just debts & funeral expences are paid to be divided equally share and share
alike between my two dear children John & Letty Pack, but my will &
meaning is that my said Son John Pack should carry on my business of a
Blacksmith on his own account & for that purpose I give & bequeath to my
said dear Son John Pack all my tools & stock in trade necessary for carrying
on the same. And I hereby request my dear Brother James Pack & also James
Pitty to be Executors to this my last Will & Testament.

James Pack and James Pitty the Executors named in
the annexed Will were sworn duly to execute the same and that the effects of the
deceased do not amount to One hundred pounds.
